This online class is dedicated to teaching advanced training in space weather, aurora science and aurora chasing. Aurora tourism and recreational activities have skyrocketed in the past decade. So much so that it has overtaken the amount of means put in aurora research, science communication and prediction. Consequently, many people travel to see the lights or work in the industry of aurora chasing without the crucial elements to really understand what is going on or how to interpret the tools to use to be successful. This eventually leads to frustration and misunderstanding. There is rampant misinformation and misconception about the aurora and our mission is to try and rectify this in a way that uses the most accurate and advanced tools. Each month, we offer five (5) consecutive weekly sessions of about 4 hours for more advanced chasers (a bit of basic knowledge is preferable). This webinar will welcome an intimate group of maximum 15 people only and is open to all levels. However, we will dive deep into space weather theory, the different solar events and quite technical graphs, so this webinar is mainly designed for aurora chasers who really want to take it to the next level to try and never miss the aurora again. Attendants will be able to access a recording of the session afterwards and will also have to possibility to get exclusive 1-on-1 help on email/messenger in the future free of charge.
